What can / should I take on the plane?

Food Questions:
This is by no means official, but here is a short list of guidelines that I have compliled by asking people I know who have traveled to China
 
  • Do not drink tap water
  • Use Bottled Water when BRUSHING TEETH
  • Do not eat fresh fruit or vegetables (only cooked)
  • Bring any prescription medications that you are currently taking
  • Bring common medicines that you might need such as:
    • Tylenol / Asprin
    • Topical Antibiotic (Bacetracin, Neosporin, etc.)
    • Stomach medicines (Immodium, Pepto-Bismol, Tums
 
What to expect from the people of China?
  I have been told by several people who have been to China that the Chinese people are kind, friendly and will most likely welcome us with warm hearts.
 
Information For Our Players:
This is some info that has been provided by the NY Islanders
 

Equipment Storage:
The team can keep and dry their equipment at the rink.

Skate Sharpening:
There is a skate sharpening machine at the rink.

First Aid:
The NY Islanders have arranged for First Aid staff, Ambulance and Emergency Room, if necessary. If needed players will be taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

Transportation:
The NYI Harbin Office is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and it is about 3KM (1.86 miles) from the Harbin Office to the rink. The NY Islanders are providing transportation to and from these locations as necessary.
